Thoughts on 2019

I felt like I was in a dark place for the longest time this past year. Sure, there were a few good things that came out of it, but those good things felt rather hollow. It's as if something was missing.

It was a mixed bag for me this year. The only comparison I can make from this is that of soup. It's kinda like taking your favorite food in the world, making it, putting it in the fridge and then forgetting about it for a whole month. When you finally remember to eat it, it smells foul, tastes fantastic and leaves you with horrible indigestion. To me, that's what this year felt like as a whole.

I'm leaving this one short because there's much to say on it and I have one more post to do for the weekend to end the decade. Also it's getting kinda late and I'm tired. See you all in a few!
