Boss told everyone to go home early. That's why I'm making a post right now. Someone got themselves sick after their lunch break. At least they had the later lunch so that the rest of us could finish compiling data before ending our shift early. By the way, totally managed to finish my stuff early and help a coworker finish theirs before they made us scurry on home early.
Around 1 AM on Saturday I heard maybe 6 sirens all heading north. Three of them I recognized and they were the two ambulances and one fire truck. The other three I'm not quite sure. One of them may have either been a smaller fire truck or a different brand of ambulance, since there are quite a few of those in this end of the county. I want to say that the other two were police vehicles, but I'm not quite sure. In any case, it must have been a pretty bad accident if I'm hearing 6 sirens in the wee hours on a weekend morning.
Got another picture ready for posting, but it might be late in the day or in the evening. Possibly. We'll see. Also it fits with the upcoming season. I can smell it in the air. Also birds singing almost every morning gives a hint at a slight change in the weather as well.
Alright, time to send work-related emails again...
