Scorched Stockings

This week felt emotionally brutal. Get hammered with a bunch of questions pertaining to work and then followed up with a bunch of psychological questions immediately after. Apparently they didn't like my tone of voice rather than work-related answers. I guess it sounded like I was about ready to cry or something. Maybe I was, not sure.

Had a bunch of fire alarms in my area this week. First was one way down my street on the end. That alarm lasted about 30 minutes. Then the next day there was an alarm across the street way in the back. That one lasted for almost an hour before the fire truck finally showed up. Lastly was the alarm two houses down from me. Only took about 20 minutes for the truck to pull in.

Don't know about the first two, I can tell you my neighbor had some serious water damage. Probably had something do to with the heavy rain that day, but I guess it was so bad that it triggered the fire alarm. Even the firemen were scratching their heads. Saw a bunch of stuff sitting out in the balcony. Water damage company has been showing up for the last three days trying to get the darn thing fixed and cleaned up. Hope they can get it all fixed up soon. Home water damage isn't fun.

Anyway, I need to shred some more stuff and then I'll call it a day. I feel sad.

Have a good weekend everyone!
