Recklessness

Can't sleep right now. Too much on my brain and it's uncomfortably hot. I go to work in the morning too.

Speaking of work, had a coworker try to grab some equipment on a high shelf. I told him to use the ladder. He thought it would be a great idea to climb the shelves and then grab the equipment. That's the kind of recklessness that will get you either fired or killed on the spot. If the boss was around to see that happen, immediate firing. I guess safety first is a foreign concept to some people.

The smoke outside has been getting pretty bad in the last week or so. Today is supposed to be a lot thicker compared to yesterday. It's also supposed to be much warmer too. With my breathing I'll have to wear a mask outside. I've been getting emails in the last two days either about excessive heat or the whole region being on red alert. That's just bad news all over. I don't think my building has a good air system either. 

Anyway, I'm gonna try to get some sleep now. I desperately need it.
