Lentil Soap

I was going to write something a couple weeks ago, but I haven't feeling like myself for a good while. Terribly sorry about that. 

Speaking of which, coworkers have been feeling under the weather for the last month. I want to say that it's just the weather since we recently got hit with a bad storm and whatnot. Actually, I think one stayed home due to food poisoning or something. I know one person had a bad fall and broke their forearm. Because nearly everyone went missing except for me, the manager and an older guy, we all added hours to our shifts just to get the hours covered. Great that we all got bigger paychecks, but we had deadlines to meet. 

Crime had a spike in my area again. Just in the last two days, I've seen police cars go up and down my street with flashing lights at least five times. That's just in my neck of the woods alone. I'm sure downtown and other urban areas are getting spikes as well, but it's a bit more rare to see it occurring frequently in suburban and even rural areas. I'm not saying that I'm terrified by any means, it's just more apparent these days. It happens.
